In Acts chapter 14, Paul and Barnabas go to the city of Iconium to continue their mission journey, but they face great opposition, so they go on to the towns of Lystra and Derbe, where Paul is nearly killed. But he survives, and the people he meets there become a key element in the spread of Christianity.
