What is MOPS?

            MOPS stands for Mothers of Preschoolers, which is defined as age birth-Kindergarten.  Expecting moms are also welcome!  MOPS is an international organization started by moms, to benefit moms.  It's a grassroots movement that believes that moms are world changers. 

What do you do at MOPS?

            We have FUN!  We have coffee and breakfast, and we get some "girl time" while our kids have fun too.  We also talk about relevant topics – discipline, temper tantrums, easy meals, potty training, decorating, gardening, raising brave kids, and more!  Sometimes we even make a craft….when is the last time you finished a craft?  The theme for this season is "We Are the Starry-Eyed."  Click here for a closer look.  Oh, wait ... did we mention there's COFFEE?   

Where will MOPS meet?

            MOPS will meet at Grace Bible Church (27083 Strawberry Lane), and we will meet there twice per month (on Thursday mornings).  We'll also have play dates monthly as well as Mom's Night's Out.   

Who can come to MOPS?

            ANY mom is welcome!  Even if you don't have a preschooler, you're welcome to attend MOPS.  You can even bring a friend!  We just ask that you let us know you're coming so we can have plenty of snacks, crafts, and space for you and your sweet little ones. 

What will my children do at MOPS?

            The children at MOPS will have fun with their friends too!  They will hear stories, have a snack, and even do a craft.  Kids love MOPS just as much as moms do!

Why should I try MOPS?

            Because this motherhood thing?  It's tough.  And it's beautiful, messy, frustrating, and fun.  Why do it alone, when we can do it together?  At MOPS, we'll learn how to be better moms, and we believe that better moms make a better world for our kids.  We'll laugh together, we'll trade potty-training secrets, we'll be inspired to be the best moms we can be, and we will cheer each other on during this exciting (and sleep-deprived) time of mothering young ones.  (And, we did say there's COFFEE!)
