This week we launch into a study of Psalms One, the first psalm in the book. It's a short psalm, only 6 verses, but it covers the realities of life from A to Z (listen to the message to find out what that means). It addresses something all people want - happiness, and it tells us the secret to finding it. Join us as we roll into the Book of Psalms.

Today we start a new series on the book of Psalms - the songbook of ancient Israel. Today will be an introduction to the book, plus we'll answer the final question from our "Got Questions" series, regarding imprecatory psalms, meaning psalms that call down curses on people. How does that work, considering Jesus told us to love our enemies? Join us to find out!

“The only thing more difficult than forgiveness is the alternative.” Phillip Yancy

The alternative is to be out of communion with God and allow turmoil to overwhelm your soul. In my own walk as a forgiven disciple of Jesus struggling to forgive others, I found in Joseph one who forgave what no human should be expected to forgive. I invite you to learn from his life with me.
